Sure, I'll agree with most of you when you say that a comfy bed in a warm house is not a bad place to catch some zzzz's, but here is a glimpse of one of our bivy spots enroute to Jackson, WY. We are sleeping on national forest land just outside of Driggs, ID. The moon was shining bright in the days just after being full. I say, being under the stars isn't so bad either.

hey there dirtbag nomad. thanks for your nice long sweet email. bummed you didn't roll into jackson just a bit earlier. i think the workshop would have cracked you open and onto paper (etc) in the form of funky mixed media creations about your already funky, fun nomadic life. if i didn't have a husband, i might join you. hehe. we both love wandering. we do it around india a lot. if you are coming thru or near new mexico, drop by. we live in one of those most beautiful places on earth... plus, there is this GREAT BIG BEAR that loves to be climbed. as for future workshops, i'll keep you posted. plus, we can keep connected via the blog world...
